Parisian Crafted Hand-Plaited Leather Belt

This belt speaks to me of days at the beach and roads less travelled.

Inspired by an ‘80s original, this honest brown hand-woven belt is from the New Zealand company Parisian, which has been making clothing accessories in Auckland for over 100 years.

Each belt is crafted from a single leather hide, and hand-plaited from five leather strands. The braid is finished with matching leather ends and fastened with a classic antiqued brass buckle.

The brown leather is tumbled for a soft, worn-in feel that gets better with age.
With its open weave, this brown belt can be fastened anywhere along the length. For a looser fit, simply opt for a larger size.

Your belt size is usually 1 or 2 inches/5 to 10 cm larger than your pant or waist size.
Measurement begins from the place where the buckle connects to the belt's middle hole
Your belt goes around you and your trousers plus any clothes underneath, so run a tape measure through your belt loops at the point where you normally wear your pants. Pull both ends snug. Choose your belt using this measurement.
Remember, a Medium size belt from one brand may be a Small in an another.
If in doubt, choose one size larger.
