  • If you’d like to return an item, simply email returns@artevo.nz and we'll provide your Return Reference and the return address. 
  • Items must be returned in their original condition and packaging within 30 days of delivery.

This leather journal cover features a whakarare motif and is crafted by Parisian, maker of silk ties and leather goods in Auckland for over 100 years.

Whakarare is a Māori word meaning to distort or confuse.

The journal cover is cut from a single hide of New Zealand leather, tanned in Whanganui. This high-grade leather will gently age - softening over time and deepening in tone as it develops a rich patina.

This journal will last for decades, if not longer, so it can be treasured for generations.

Inside is an A5 notebook and a wooden pencil - both easily replaceable to ensure years of continued use. A5 refills are widely available in NZ, so you're not tied to expensive branded replacements.

Lined, plain and dot-grid refills are also available separately from Artevo.
